Here’s a super quick and delicious recipe that’s great for the summer! The slaw is made from different types of cruciferous veggies in a simple dressing. It’s great on burgers, tacos, or even on its own!
This recipe features Hellmann’s Carefully Crafted Dressing & Sandwich Spread, which is delicious and free from eggs, cholesterol, and artificial colors/flavors.
Yield: 2-4 servings
1 cup thinly sliced kale
¾ cup thinly sliced brussels sprouts
¼ cup julienned broccoli stem
¼ cup julienned parsnip
¼ cup grated radish
¼ cup Hellmann’s Carefully Crafted Dressing & Sandwich Spread
2 teaspoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon agave (or sweetener of choice)
¼ teaspoon cayenne (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Begin by tossing together the veggies in a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, stir together the dressing ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste then toss the dressing into the slaw mixture. Serve immediately or chilled and enjoy!
